Meet The Team

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, I have been committed to assisting those in need since my teenage years. As an activist in my community, I worked to combat the presence of drugs on our streets and supported individuals struggling with addiction. Regularly, I provided meals for the homeless and volunteered at local Senior Citizen Centers. I have also learned and shared various crafting skills with others. Outdoor activities such as walking, feeling the sun's warmth, and listening to birdsong bring me joy. Additionally, I enjoy kickboxing and maintaining a regular exercise routine. My daughter, Akleema, inspires me to continually strive for self-improvement. The experience of raising a child with autism has taught me invaluable patience. Having been raised in a stable, two-parent household with siblings has provided me with a strong foundation. My ultimate goal is to live a life that is pleasing to God Almighty.

I'm a wife and mother of six beautiful boys. I was born and raised in Guyana, South America. I have been a  practicing Muslim for almost 30 years Alhamdulillah. I have been a part of the Houston Muslim community for almost 6 yrs. I am a shy easy going person. I am best in small groups, but I do enjoy meeting new people and helping people anyway I can. When I am not busy with my children and husband, I enjoy reading, crocheting and fishing.

Born & brought up in Pakistan, I moved to Qatar after getting married. 

Served the Pakistani community, for various volunteer activities in the Pakistani counselet in  Doha, Qatar. A few years ago I moved to Houston Tx with husband & 2 kids, as Texas is considered to have one of the largest Islamic centers & huge Muslim population. Looking forward to Serving the Muslim community & to help make lives better. .

I am a wife and mother. I was born in Pakistan but lived here in Houston for over 20 years. Allah has blessed me with 3 beautiful girls who keep me very busy but I would like to be part of this group and help out in any way I can.
